In line with our commitment to provide the highest quality services and facilities to our guests, the program is nearing completion with the recent unveiling of our new Reception and Lobby Lounge, deluxe rooms, exciting new Restaurants and Pool. We are now in the final stages of the program which includes the refurbishment of our upper guestroom floors in the main wing. Whilst intermittent noise may be heard, measures have been taken to minimize disruption to our guests and work is confined within normal business hours only.

On-site dining is available at Shang Palace (Chinese), Angelini (Italian), Edogin (Japanese), Riverside Lounge, pool bars (Krungthep Wing and Shangri-La Wing), lobby lounge, and Horizon Cruise II (an international buffet on the river). The hotel also offers room service (24 hours), airport transfers, valet laundry service, babysitting, complimentary shoe shine, a drugstore, a florist, photo processing, and a shopping arcade. All rooms have river views, Broadband Internet access, dataports, voicemail, satellite/cable TV, in-house movie channels, international direct-dial telephones, electronic safes, minibars, coffee/tea facilities, and executive writing desks.the Hotel is refurbishing the porte cochere and reception lobby of the Shangri-La Wing from 10 December 2009. These are relocated to the adjacent ballroom entrance and concealed from view until scheduled completion by end of January 2010.
